Back in June we had the chance to get down to the Navy Pier in downtown Chicago. It was a fantastic day out and the weather outstanding. We were there on a Friday and even during the week the amount of people abound was amazing.

Here’s a shot of a building at Navy Pier in Chicago. My kids were just to the left of me with my beautiful wife. After this shot I was stopped by a security guard and told that tripods were not allowed. He was nice about it and I just collapsed it and walked away.

Soon after my wife came up to me and said that the security guard had said, as he walked past her, into his walkie talkie “we got a 421 here”. I guess that’s their code for there’s a stranger with a tripod and he better be taken down!
