FLOWER IN THE GARDEN

TODAY’S PHOTO – RED FLOWER IN THE GARDEN

I don’t quite remember where I shot this photo. I believe I took it in Capitola, California a few years ago while visiting the coast. We moved to Colorado back in 2003 and the only thing we miss is the ocean. It was great to get away and smell the salty air

We had stayed in a small rental house that was a short walk to the beach and it was surrounded by an amazing array of flowers. I had a lot of fun shooting there.

SEAGULLS STARING

Seagulls Staring Out to Sea

Seagulls were in multitudes on Capitola beach in California this one August morning. Capitola is a little town just south of the more famous Santa Cruz which is just north by about 10 minutes.

This young one was just staring out at the open ocean taking a break from the busy chatter going on around it. We hadn’t been to the ocean in a while being that we had moved off to Colorado so it was great to feel the offshore breeze again. I definitely need a taste of the ocean at least once a year if I can manage it.
